When I reached the base of black bear chair at Eaglecrest Ski Resort there was some patchy snow but as I continued up the mountain, the snow became more consistent. When I reached the top of ptarmigan it was snowing and there was a healthy 3 inches of snow on the ground. I am excited for the upcoming season!
