Anna Hoke is a fifth generation Alaskan who was born and raised in Juneau. Anna graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School in 2003 and then attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks for several years before returning to Juneau in 2005 to study English at the University of Alaska Southeast. She has worked as a graphic designer and developer since 2007, both freelance and in the private sector as a production manager, as well as a publication tech for the State of Alaska. Her background also includes extensive experience designing marketing and promotional materials, photography, website design, editing and writing. She is the owner of Southeast Living Magazine which was founded in 2010. Anna lives in the valley with her husband Hayden, daughter Ariana and cat Tron. Anna enjoys hiking and fishing, and playing soccer and softball. When she isn’t adventuring in the great outdoors she coaches soccer and is director of the Capital City Soccer League.Holiday Survival Guide
